After graduating barber school in 2017, he became a licensed barber and went on to earn his Barber Manager’s License. In March of 2022, Jay opened his own multicultural barber shop during the Covid pandemic. Jay loves connecting with his clients, hearing their stories, and creating transformations that leave them feeling brand new.
My favorite thing about being a barber is being part of life’s “special moments”. Prior to ANY special occasion, you typically go see your barber. We prepare your for weddings, birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, graduations, interviews, first dates, baptisms, you name it"! To say I love what I do is such an understatement.

My name is Evan Ferguson, and I’m originally from a small town 65 miles north of Pittsburgh - Greenville, Pennsylvania. I studied communications at Penn State Behrend and have built my professional experience in sales, public relations, and journalism. Since 2016, I’ve also been cutting hair, something that started as a hobby and blossomed into a true passion. I’m as loyal a fan of all things Pittsburgh sports, as well as Penn State! I love writing, spending time with close friends on the North Shore, and traveling with my longtime girlfriend. At home, I’m a proud cat dad of two, Pancake and Piper.
I would say that my specialty for men’s styles would be all forms of fading. Drop fades, burst, taper, high and tight, etc. I specialize in culturally diverse hair textures, from thinner to finer and more coarse hair. As for shear work, shorter-mid scissor cuts I am extremely confident and comfortable. I’m excited for the opportunity to serve the West View and surrounding areas of Pittsburgh alongside Jay. I take the craft very seriously, and I want you to leave my chair believing that every single time.
